Saving for a Home

Habitat for Humanity is a ColoradoSaves site.  In Colorado, there are 29 affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International, who have come together to form the state support organization, Habitat for Humanity of Colorado (HFHC).  HFHC is a non-profit corporation whose purpose is to assist Colorado Habitat for Humanity affiliates in increasing production of affordable housing. Saving for College

Qualifying lower- to middle-income Colorado families who open a college savings plan this year through CollegeInvest, a nonprofit division of the Colorado Department of Higher Education, could be eligible for up to $500 in matching funds.  Families who meet the requirements simply need to apply through the CollegeInvest Matching Grant Program for the opportunity to have their contributions matched dollar for dollar up to $500 (subject to the availability of funds).  In all, CollegeInvest is committing up to $50,000 within its 529 college savings plans for eligible families.
